I am super excited to share the details with you concerning District Leadership Conference and Membership Education Retreat. The conference will occur on February 10th, 2018 at Georgia Institute of Technology, hosted by the Iota Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi and the Epsilon Theta Chapter of Tau Beta Sigma. Our National Officer for the Conference will be National VPSA, Jessica Lee. There is no cost to attend DLC/MER! Please check back on this website page, along with the Facebook event to keep up to date with all things DLC/MER.
What is District Leadership Conference? Each year, the District hosts a conference, in which the chapters of the Southeast District of Kappa Kappa Psi and Tau Beta Sigma gather to share their successes and learn from fellow members of the district. DLC is free to attend for all Brothers, Sisters, and respective Membership Candidates of both organizations. DLC is structured as a series of workshop blocks in which attendees have a variety of choices of workshops to attend.
I am also excited to add an additional membership component to this year’s DLC called “Membership Education Retreat” or MER! This retreat is optional (but highly encouraged) and follows the conclusion of DLC. It will be a great opportunity to learn from additional workshops focused exclusively on membership.
